What You Get with Hybrid Coaching

Hybrid coaching combines the accountability and hands-on expertise of in-person personal training with the flexibility and structure of app-based programming. You get the best of both worlds: regular face-to-face sessions for technique coaching, injury management and motivation, plus full support on the days you train independently.

You are juggling work, family and a packed diary, so long gym sessions are not realistic. I design time‑efficient workouts that fit around your schedule, keep you accountable and make every minute count, so you can get stronger, leaner and feel in control again.

Post-Injury or GP-Referred Clients

You are returning from injury or managing a health condition and want to train safely and confidently. I work closely with your medical guidance to build a progressive plan that reduces pain, restores movement and helps you lift, walk and live without fear of setbacks. 

Your Hybrid Coaching Journey: Week by Week

Step 1: Free Consultation & Assessment (Week 0)

We meet for a no‑obligation 20–30 minute consultation (in‑person or via video call) to discuss your goals, injury history, current fitness level and schedule. From this, Ivan designs your initial 12‑week hybrid coaching framework.

Step 2: Program Setup & Onboarding (Week 1)

Your customised training plan and initial nutrition guidelines are loaded into the Trainerize app. You get a walkthrough of how to log workouts, track progress, upload form videos and message Ivan between sessions.

Step 3: First In‑Person Coaching Session (Week 1)

Your first in‑person session at PureGym Twickenham focuses on assessing movement, teaching key exercises safely, and setting realistic starting loads so you feel confident and in control.

Step 4: App‑Based Training + Weekly Check‑Ins (Weeks 2–4)

You follow your structured plan 3–5 days per week using the app. Each week you have a short video or voice check‑in with Ivan to review progress, adjust exercises or loads, and troubleshoot any pain or barriers. 

Step 5: Monthly In‑Person Reviews (Weeks 4, 8, 12)

Roughly every 4 weeks you have an in‑person review session to re‑check technique, progress your program, reassess any injuries or niggles, and update your strength and mobility goals.

Step 6: Long‑Term Progression & Next Block (Week 12+)

At the end of the first 12 weeks, Ivan reviews your overall progress and recommends the next step: another hybrid block, transitioning to online‑only maintenance, or increasing/decreasing in‑person frequency based on your needs and schedule.

HYBRID COACHING PACKAGES

*Hybrid Essentials – 2 Sessions Per Month – £260 *

  • 2 x 60‑minute in‑person sessions per month at PureGym Twickenham 
  • Custom strength, mobility and rehab plan in your training app 
  • Weekly video or voice check‑ins (10–15 minutes) 
  • Messaging support for form checks and quick questions 
  • Best if you are confident training alone but want regular tune‑ups, accountability and pain‑aware programming.

  • Fully personalised training plan with progressive overload built in

  • Best if you want steady, hands‑on guidance for weight loss, strength and injury rehab.

As a woman with PCOS, losing weight has always been incredibly difficult and I was stuck in a cycle of losing a little, then putting it back on within a matter of weeks. Ivan designed a custom workout plan and calorie deficit tailored specifically to my needs. He didn’t know much about my condition at first but after our first session he made it his mission to research and learn everything he could so he could truly help me.
